Usually by 10:30 A.M. This time-definite delivery option offers guaranteed door-to-door service, guaranteed to be delivered on time or it's free. Delivery commitment may be later in some areas.
8:30 A.M. Delivery
This time-definite delivery option is available for an additional charge and
it's perfect if you need your delivery first thing in the morning. 8:30 A.M.
delivery is guaranteed to be delivered on time or it's free. This service
is available to most of LSO's destination cities. Be sure to check the
Service Area
page on this site or call customer service at 1.800.800.8984 to see if 8:30 A.M.
delivery is available in your city of choice. No delivery signature will be
obtained for 8:30 A.M. deliveries.
Saturday Delivery
Saturday deliveries are available for an additional charge and are guaranteed
by 12:00 noon. (Pick-up service is not available on Saturday.)
Ground - End of Next Business Day (EOD)
End Of Day (EOD) service combines the best of next day delivery with the cost savings
of Ground. If your important deliveries can be made at
the end of the next business day, this is the perfect option for you. Business deliveries are guaranteed by 6:00 P.M. LSO shipping
supplies are intended for Priority shipments only.
Ground - By 3:00 P.M. Delivery
When End Of Day delivery is just a little too late, use the Ground by 3:00 P.M. option, guaranteed to be on time or it's free.
Ground - Saturday By 1:00 P.M. Delivery
Saturday deliveries are available for an additional charge and are guaranteed
by 1:00 P.M. (Pick-up service is not available on Saturday.)
NOTE: Priority supplies are not intended for Ground shipments. If LSO supplies, the service will be upgraded to Priority as follows: Ground End-of-Day or Ground 3 p.m. using LSO packaging will be upgraded to Priority 10:30 and Ground Saturday will be upgraded to Priority Saturday. Priority Rates will be applied to upgraded packages. Individual ground packages can be no more than 70 lbs. and be no more than 72" in length and measuring up to 130" combined
length and girth.
Residential Deliveries
Home delivery has become an important aspect of overnight service in recent
years. LSO's convenient residential delivery option allows you the freedom
to take care of your business without having to sit and wait for packages.
If you're not at your residence at the time of delivery and there is a
generally secure area in which to leave your package, the delivery can be
made without a signature.
If a signature is necessary for a particular residential delivery,
"Signature Required" stickers are available by calling customer service
at 1.800.800.8984. Signature Required is not available for ground residential deliveries.
The Additional fee for Residential Deliveries is $2.30.
Delivery Without Signature
You may have packages delivered without a delivery signature at your option
by signing the "Release Signature" line under section "3." of the airbill.
This will allow the package to be delivered on the first attempt. The
signature release option is not recommended in situations where proof of
delivery is required. NOTE: You may establish a permanent Delivery Without Signature at your location by calling customer service at 800-800-8984.
Additional Declared Value
Each LSO package is automatically covered up to $100 for loss or damage. Additional declared value is available at a minimal fee. If the declared value indicated on the airbill is below $500 the declared value for the shipment will be billed at the $500 minimum rate. Liability is limited. See service guide for details. All freight charges
must be paid before a claim can be processed. All packaging materials must
be provided for inspection at the time of the claim. Receipts and other
documentation may also be required in the event a claim is filed. Claims
may not exceed the actual value of the contents of the shipment. All
documentation must be verifiable. Consequential damages are not recoverable.
